A growing number of makers are hand-filing their own nozzles open to print thicker layers, faster prints, and bigger objects — because nobody sells a proper 1.0–1.8mm nozzle for their printer. The pattern

People are already doing this by hand.

Search any printer forum or short-form video app and you'll find makers drilling out or filing down stock nozzles to push past 0.8mm — chasing faster prints, chunky vase-mode pieces, and a distinct layered look. It works, but it's irreversible, imprecise, and voids whatever warranty was left.

What we're building

One nozzle line, fitted to your printer's actual thread.

Nozzle threading and hotend geometry differ by brand — a Bambu Lab-fit nozzle won't thread onto a Creality hotend. So step one is figuring out exactly which printers and sizes people want, before we tool up for a Kickstarter run.
